Tucson Rental Market - Hot Areas And Not So Hot!

Looking at the latest Tucson rental trends, as compared to a few months ago, it seems that landlords or property managers with vacancies and long DOMs probably should check out the recent numbers!

If you are a trying to rent your home in the North and Northwest areas of Tucson, those areas not only have the highest rents in the city - they also have the highest number of rentals - averaging over 350 rentals.  Interestingly, the average rent for these areas increased by $400 a month in the past few months.  And the average DOM is ... drum-roll please 328 days.

Compared to other areas of Tucson, the average number of rentals is 58, and the average DOM is between 44 and 78.

My opinion as to the best - or "hottest" rental areas?  Central, East and SE where the rentals are between $950 and $1200 a month and the average number of days it takes to rent a home in these areas is 45-50!

It seems that the trends can change so quickly Gabrielle, a market report like this can help to see the current trends in the rental markets.
