Tucson Rental Market Report - September 2013

The Rental Statistics summarize the active inventory, rented inventory, and days on market for each rental property type.

Highlights for Tucson September Rental Statistics (from a total of 1,040 Active listings):

 Number of properties rented this month - 371

 Average monthly rent for Apartments - $500

 Average monthly rent for Condominiums- $873

 Average monthly rent for Mobile Homes - $450

 Average monthly rent for Manufactured Single Family homes - $877

 Average monthly rent for Patio Homes - $1,325

 Average monthly rent for Plex’s - $622

 Average monthly rent for Single Family - $1,226

 Average monthly rent for Townhomes - $935

 Average Days on Market - 48

Tucson clearly has a large inventory of rental homes available and with only a small fraction of them getting rented.  Rent prices, though stable, continue to drop roughly $25 to $100 per month over last month.

Looks like similar news from other parts of the country as well.  Starting to have a little bubble in the rental market.
