Tucson Rental Market Report January 2014

What a difference a month can make with rental prices in Tucson AZ!  Below are some highlights:

  • Rent prices have dropped an average of $150 per month.  The largest drop is on Tucson's North side of town - the average rent price dropped $450 per month.
  • Tucson's North and SE areas have the most number of Active rentals - 250 and 110 respectively - and both of those areas showed a decrease in average rent price over last month.
  • There were slight increases on Tucson's East, South, West, Northwest and Central areas of town.

Rent price ranges (in dollar amounts per month):

Tucson North:  595 - 2800          Tucson West: 625 - 4100              Tucson SE: 550 - 3900

Tucson East: 600 - 2495             Tucson Central: 395 - 4000

Tucson South: 450 - 2200           Tucson Northwest:  500 - 6000

Wow $450 per month decrease is hefty!  It looks like the northwest is the place to be

GOOD MORNING WILL - there are but you either have to "compete" to have the best offer, or you have to be willing to buy cheap, fix up then rent!
